Together with his 20 piece-band “The Disruptive Collective” featuring a gallery of long-time musical companions, Odessa Orchestra & Friends and Choir, Hans Zimmer has created an epic musical spectacle melding atmospheric classical arrangements and electronic elements into the powerful sound of a rock band. The album was recorded during the highly successful same-named concert tour in Europe in spring of 2022 for which Zimmer created new “suites” from some of his most recognizable themes and melodies from the Academy Award ©-winning scores for Dune and The Lion King, as well as such contemporary classics as The Dark Knight, X Men: Dark Phoenix, Dunkirk, Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar, The Last Samurai, Man of Steel, James Bond: No Time to Die, Pirates of the Caribbean and Wonder Woman 1984. “Hans Zimmer LIVE” features more of two hours of new reimagined arrangements of some of the most popular compositions by the L.A.-based composer icon. “I’m grateful to be able to play our music that brings together so many people for a truly unforgettable experience.” “I’m thrilled to return to the stage for another tour in Europe and excited to share this phenomenal show that the band and I are preparing for,” said Zimmer. The newly arranged concert suites include music from GLADIATOR, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, THE DARK KNIGHT, INTERSTELLAR, THE LION KING, THE LAST SAMURAI and DUNE, for which Zimmer received his second Academy Award® during his previous tour stop in Amsterdam. In a groundbreaking audio and visual show, the multiple Academy Award ® and Grammy winning Zimmer, his band and the Odessa Orchestra & Friends will perform the composer’s worldwide successes.
This arena tour will comprise concerts in 15 countries, including new stops in Portugal, Spain, Slovakia and Germany.
Starting in April 2023, the world-renowned film composer will return to Europe with his extraordinary band and orchestra for the “Hans Zimmer Live – Europe Tour 2023”. Following the major success of his recent tour across Europe, Hans Zimmer is excited to announce the continuation of this smash-hit tour.
